About the position

The IT Change Analyst will support the US Army Corps of Engineers Revolutionary IT Services (USACE RITS) program by facilitating and governing the change management process in accordance with ITIL best practices. This role focuses on delivering integrated IT services that align with the needs of a large customer base across various locations. The analyst will manage the end-to-end change lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation and continuous improvement of the change management process.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and govern the change management process according to ITIL best practices.
  • Deliver change activities within the service management toolset (ServiceNow).
  • Perform the end-to-end change lifecycle and identify process improvements.
  • Execute and track change requests, identifying and allocating relevant change approvals.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and investigate issues from change implementation.
  • Participate in user groups to improve future deliveries and business processes.
  • Report changes to USACE stakeholders and other relevant parties.
  • Produce Change Approval Board (CAB) and Change Schedule reports and minutes.
  • Ensure compliance with USACE program policies and procedures regarding change management.
  • Support release and deployment management functions during maintenance events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, or a Master's degree with no experience; additional four years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • ITIL V4 Foundation certification (or equivalent) is desired.
  • ITIL V3 Release, Control and Validation certification (or equivalent) is desired.
  • IAT-II certification (e.g., Security+) is desired.
  • Must have a secret security clearance.
