About the position

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for an IT Change Manager to support the division of Disease Control Informatics Branch. The IT Change Manager will perform specialized information systems analysis and provide expertise in one or more areas of systems analysis. This role may involve acting as a team leader, coordinator, or leading a project team, while providing expertise in information systems analysis, including the definition of user requirements, feasibility studies, design, program specifications, testing, and implementation. The IT Change Manager will also assist project managers in developing project plans and system integration test plans for new systems or complex enhancements to existing systems. Additionally, the IT Change Manager will monitor application systems functionality and participate in the development of management procedures and quality standards. The position is expected to start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is initially funded through June 20, 2025. The role may require occasional reporting to the downtown office, with telework options available.

Responsibilities

  • Perform specialized information systems analysis.
  • Provide expertise in systems analysis, including user requirements and feasibility studies.
  • Act as a team leader or coordinator for project teams.
  • Assist project managers in developing project plans and system integration test plans.
  • Monitor application systems functionality and participate in management procedures development.
  • Support organizational change initiatives related to technology deployment and transformation efforts.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate vendor performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • Two years of recent, full-time, paid experience in information systems analysis and design in a centralized IT organization, or three years of equivalent experience.
  • Valid California Class C Driver License or alternative transportation method.
