About the position

The IT Change Manager will serve as a key figure in managing and facilitating change within the IT organization. This role focuses on developing and adopting change frameworks and best practices, ensuring that the organization has the right talent and resources for upcoming changes in the IT roadmap. The consultant will assess the impact of changes due to new technologies, plan and facilitate change management initiatives, and create a roadmap aligned with the IT strategic plan.

Responsibilities

  • Support change impact assessments across projects and teams.
  • Develop communication and training plans for upskilling in cloud and other technologies.
  • Advise IT and project teams on change management frameworks and practices.
  • Understand the scope of cloud modernization initiatives and assess stakeholder impacts.
  • Manage and execute activities for multiple concurrent IT projects, ensuring alignment with objectives and schedules.
  • Assess the IT organization structure and identify evolving roles and responsibilities for cloud-native technologies.
  • Scope learning and training needs and collaborate with IT leaders on resource assessment.
  • Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies for IT projects.
  • Collaborate with Cloud FinOps Analyst to align practices between IT and Finance.
  • Work with PMO vendors to integrate change management into technical projects.
  • Identify intersections across technology transformation projects and provide guidance on change management strategies.
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues to project managers.
  • Create and implement a Change Management framework and tools for IT services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change interventions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in change management and/or transformation programs in regulated industries.
  • Experience with cloud modernization transformation initiatives.
  • Deep experience in applying change management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience leading complex and large-scale business change initiatives.
  • Experience guiding culture and behavioral change.
  • Experience with UX and business process design.
  • Experience developing and delivering executive-level messaging and presentations.
  • Certification in at least one change methodology (CCMP, Prosci, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
