About the position

Product owners determine and oversee delivery of the strategy and roadmap for their products to achieve customer and end-user outcomes, as well as Atlas's business and financial objectives. The product manager is effectively the "voice of the customer/end-user in the product." They effectively integrate, motivate and build relationships with and between team members, key stakeholders, customers, executives, and other individuals or organizations involved with the end-to-end product life cycle. The Chapter Lead Product Management will lead the change at an enterprise level to move from an individual project funding and delivery model to a product model and culture. This means delivering effective change within the product team, tech team and the wider enterprise. They will not manage products directly themselves but will lead through others. All product managers will report to the chapter lead and they will ensure their team has the rights skills, people and culture to deliver to the OneAtlas strategy. They are accountable for their teams full enterprise wide product set and ensuring product management resourcing and leadership is appropriate and the correct product structure is in place.

Responsibilities

  • People leadership of 12 product managers and BOAs, with potential growth in future
  • Career and performance plans in place to build a high performing agile team with internal talent progression
  • Develop and implement a clear, enterprise product strategy including product structure and engagement model
  • Lead an enterprise project-to-product transformation within Tech and across the enterprise
  • Develop and implement product success metrics and manage team to them
  • Product team resource management plan
  • Senior stakeholder management including customers and vendors
  • Financially literate and can manage a P&L if required
  • Support Application Development Chapter Lead in implementing an engineering culture
  • Support Portfolio Senior Director in implementing an adaptive human centric system of work

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of product management experience with 5+ years with full accountability of a complex program, portfolio or product
  • 15+ years of experience as a business analyst, project manager, scrum master or product manager
  • 5+ years of people leadership with direct reports
  • 5+ years experience in an agile delivery culture
  • Experience managing ERPs or Enterprise Platforms as a product
  • Led at least one project to product transformation
  • Airline or logistics experience an advantage but not essential
