About the position

The IT Clinical Solution Analyst III position at Banner Health is a strategic role focused on the design, build, and maintenance of Oracle Cerner Clinical Decision Support and mPage solutions. This role involves collaboration with informatics partners and IT teams to enhance clinician workflows and improve patient care. The position is primarily remote, with on-call responsibilities outside of normal business hours, and requires strong communication skills and in-depth experience with Oracle Cerner applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, track, and resolve multi-level project, system, or application errors ensuring timely resolution with high accuracy and quality.
• Design end user training and curriculum for applications and systems, facilitating initial rollout and ongoing support.
• Create technical documents including process maps, Business Requirement Documents, system diagrams, application maps, and test plans.
• Provide leadership and guidance in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex application and system specifications and processes.
• Engage in continuous improvement opportunities and mentor junior team members.
• Ensure Key Performance Indicators are supported and tracked in all levels of work effort.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a healthcare environment.
• Current valid clinical license, certification, or credential in state of practice.
• 4-7 years of work experience in a healthcare environment with in-depth knowledge of information technology and healthcare concepts.
• Experience in medium scale project planning and reporting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cerner Discern rules, Smart Zones, and Advisor.
• Additional related education and/or experience in healthcare IT.
