About the position

The IT Clinical Solution Analyst III position at Banner Health is a strategic role focused on the design, build, and maintenance of Oracle Cerner Clinical Decision Support and mPage solutions. This role involves collaboration with various IT teams and clinicians to enhance patient care through innovative technology. The analyst will engage in project oversight, system documentation, and quality assurance methodologies, ensuring that the solutions meet the needs of both internal and external customers. This position is primarily remote, with on-call responsibilities outside of normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with informatics partners and IT teams to design and implement Oracle Cerner solutions.
• Identify, investigate, track, and resolve project, system, or application errors.
• Design end-user training and curriculum for applications and systems.
• Create technical documents including process maps, Business Requirement Documents, and test plans.
• Provide leadership and guidance in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex application specifications.
• Facilitate communication and conflict resolution within teams.
• Ensure Key Performance Indicators are tracked and supported in all work efforts.
• Mentor junior team members and encourage continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a healthcare environment.
• Current valid clinical license, certification, or credential in the state of practice.
• 4-7 years of experience in a healthcare environment with knowledge of information technology.
• Experience in medium scale project planning and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
