As an IT Cloud Resiliency Engineer at Cardinal Health, you will play a critical role in architecting and implementing solutions that ensure the availability, disaster recovery, and backup/recovery services for our cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on-premise technologies. Your primary focus will be on developing and leading efforts to create automated resiliency capabilities that guarantee the continuous availability, security, and hardening of critical technologies. This position requires a deep understanding of resiliency solutions, as well as the ability to recommend, implement, and configure related code and automation. You will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and documenting the architecture of technology components, including their interdependencies and networking requirements. This includes developing recovery scripts and testing various failure scenarios in new environments. Leading the implementation of resiliency solutions will involve utilizing automation, resiliency technologies, and cloud operations, as well as participating in cloud migration projects. You will also perform availability and disaster recovery testing, manage and review resiliency plans, and collaborate with project teams to identify and document resiliency risks and remediation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud services, particularly with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience in engineering and architecture within enterprise environments. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in scripting and programming, as well as a solid understanding of data management and network failover strategies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across various levels of management are essential for success in this role.
