About the position

The IT Communication Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication plans for IT projects and initiatives. This role ensures that all employees are informed about IT updates, changes, and best practices, while also promoting IT services and achievements through various digital communications. The manager will collaborate with IT and other departments to create engaging content and will monitor communication metrics to assess effectiveness and make improvements as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans for IT projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure all employees are informed about IT updates, changes, and best practices by managing internal communications.
  • Create and distribute digital communications, including newsletters, press releases, and social media content, to promote IT services and achievements.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to gather information and create clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and make improvements as needed.
  • Coordinate and project manage IT-related events, webinars, and training sessions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries from employees, clients, and operations.
  • Draft and/or edit messaging, PowerPoint presentations, talking points, FAQs, and other communications.
  • Ensure all communications align with the organization's brand and messaging guidelines.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in strategic communication, preferably in a BPO or related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT communications, public relations, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and emerging communication technologies, especially AI and automation.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms (e.g., email marketing software, social media, content management systems).
  • Expert level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Can quickly jump from one project to the next as priorities change.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
