About the position

As an IT Compliance Analyst at Trimble, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the integrity of our organization by identifying and mitigating financial, operational, and compliance risks. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough audits and risk assessments of our IT systems, as well as developing and implementing a robust audit and control framework. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to monitor our IT production environments for system integrity, cyber-risk exposure, and control weaknesses. You will be tasked with evaluating complex information systems and controls, which encompass applications, business processes, change control management, security, networks, disaster recovery, and data center operations. Your findings and recommendations will be reported to management, and you will support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts. In addition to your auditing responsibilities, you will provide administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies that align with compliance requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining Trimble's prohibited software list and running internal compliance projects while supporting external audits. Monitoring Trimble workstations for installed free software that does not comply with vendor licensing models will also be part of your duties. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in enterprise software and relational databases, as you will be expected to leverage this knowledge to enhance our compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits and risk assessments of IT systems.
  • Develop and implement a robust audit and control framework.
  • Monitor IT production environments for system integrity and cyber-risk exposure.
  • Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Evaluate complex information systems and controls, including applications and business processes.
  • Provide administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies.
  • Maintain Trimble's prohibited software list and run internal compliance projects.
  • Support external audits and monitor workstations for compliance with software licensing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 1+ years of experience as an IS auditor.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and products such as Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and business processes.
  • Expertise in enterprise software and relational databases.
