About the position

The I.T. Compliance Analyst at Golden Entertainment is a pivotal role that ensures the company's IT systems, processes, policies, and procedures comply with various regulatory agencies. Reporting to the Director of IT - VMO & Telecommunications, the analyst will be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), applicable Gaming Control Boards, Payment Card Industry Security Standards (PCI), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other relevant federal agencies. This position requires a proactive approach to developing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines that align with these regulations. The analyst will work closely with the Director of IT to complete audit requests, ensuring that documentation, responses, and remediation efforts are thorough and accurate. This includes performing audits of IT policies and procedures, identifying data needed for audit reporting, and maintaining updated processes related to IT audits. The role also involves serving as a liaison between enterprise IT teams and regulatory groups, ensuring that responses are consistent and accurate. Recommendations for improving compliance remediation procedures will be made to Corporate IT leadership, and the analyst will conduct risk assessments for third-party vendors and contractors. In addition to compliance responsibilities, the I.T. Compliance Analyst is expected to provide outstanding guest service, adhering to the company's guest service culture standards. The role may also involve other duties as assigned, requiring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Complete audit requests for documentation, responses, and remediation related to regulatory compliance.
  • Perform audits of IT policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Identify and gather data required for audit reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and update IT audit-related processes and procedures, including auditing and documentation.
  • Coordinate IT team member efforts on enforcement and completion of compliance procedures.
  • Serve as the corporate liaison between enterprise IT teams and regulatory groups.
  • Make recommendations for the improvement of compliance remediation procedures.
  • Perform third-party risk and responsibility assessments.
  • Provide outstanding guest service to guests and team members.

Requirements

  • Two years experience in an IT compliance role.
  • Strong compliance working knowledge of regulations and standards related to Nevada's Gaming Control Board, SOX, and PCI.
  • General knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA preferred.
  • Previous experience in a casino/hotel resort environment preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work after normal business hours as required.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • HIPAA working knowledge a plus.
