About the position

The IT Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations within the IT department of a manufacturing company. This role involves performing internal control testing, risk management, and supporting audit requests. The position is a new 6-month contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role, requiring four days of onsite work each week.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal control testing, auditing, monitoring, risk management, and mitigation.
• Identify risks and ensure compliance with industry standards, relevant laws and regulations, and industry best practices.
• Perform quarterly and annual IT testing for internal and external audits, risk assessments, and policy compliance.
• Maintain and develop appropriate policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain compliance with established, as well as new controls.
• Ensure prompt turnarounds by supporting internal and external audit requests.
• Work with Control Owners to ensure controls are actively managed and monitored throughout the year.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, or a related field required.
• 7+ years' experience in IT Compliance, IT Audit, or related technical and professional experience, preferably in process manufacturing industry.
• Experience with SOX compliance and IT General Controls (ITGCs), IT Application Controls (ITACs), SOC, and NIST.
• Relevant certifications (CISA, CISSP or equivalent) preferred.
• Project management experience (Must be able to organize and manage multiple projects concurrently).
• Must have a strong interest / understanding of systems and end-to-end business processes and be able to perform business process control definitions.
