About the position

The IT Controls Analyst position involves oversight of technical operations, vendor management, and strategic coordination related to IT controls and application support. This role serves as a liaison and coordination contact with the Disaster Recovery (DR) team, ensuring effective communication and application of yearly updates across various A2A products, including ACE, Denodo, DataPower, ODM, QLIK, and MQ. The analyst will be responsible for understanding and executing spend entry processes in systems such as FR3, Guided Buy, and Coupa, while also monitoring the spend progress for the division and coordinating with the procurement team to create an efficient and transparent process for spend coordination. In addition to vendor management, the IT Controls Analyst will oversee software upgrade processes, focusing on disruption communications and ensuring the general availability requirements of A2A infrastructure are met. The role requires maintaining awareness of A2A business applications and monitoring processes for operational vendor team engagement. The analyst will also be responsible for problem ticket monitoring, ensuring prompt attention to high-impact problems, and overseeing change ticket monitoring to ensure well-formed ticket entries and effective customer communications. The position demands excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong sense of self-accountability. The analyst will also seek opportunities for process improvement, automation, and self-service solutions, while overseeing infrastructure maintenance scheduling and monitoring mission-critical dedicated P1 bridge chat.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of technical operations, vendor management, and strategic coordination related to IT controls and application support.
  • Act as a liaison and coordination contact with the Disaster Recovery (DR) team.
  • Communicate and apply yearly updates for A2A products.
  • Monitor spend progress for the division and coordinate with the procurement team for spend entry.
  • Create efficient and transparent processes for spend coordination.
  • Oversee software upgrade processes, focusing on disruption communications.
  • Maintain general awareness of A2A business applications, especially availability.
  • Monitor processes for operational vendor team engagement and learn all ticket content for support issues.
  • Monitor problem tickets for high impact problems and ensure prompt attention to outages/service disruptions.
  • Oversee change ticket monitoring and incident ticket monitoring for high impact incidents.
  • Seek process improvement, automation, and self-service opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 8 years of experience in a technical capacity or a Master's degree with at least 5 years of experience in a technical capacity.
  • Experience in IT controls and operations, specifically with A2A products such as ACE, Denodo, DataPower.

  • Experience with vendor management and budget understanding.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to monitor high-impact incidents.
