About the position

The IT Customer Operations Consultant at Highmark Health is responsible for managing relationships with client executives, providing project and change roadmaps, and addressing IT-related challenges. This role involves consulting with clients, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring a quality customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving. The consultant will also lead discussions, negotiate disputes, and facilitate service delivery to enhance client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage escalations by leading discussions and providing solutions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert to resolve business disruptions.
  • Negotiate work request disputes and set client expectations.
  • Lead schedule portfolio conversations and monitor releases for the client.
  • Streamline opportunities to reduce unnecessary customer interactions.
  • Facilitate customer responses to informational work requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7 - 10 years in Project Management, Client Management, Consulting, IS/IT, Escalation, Dispute, and/or Crisis Management or Change Management.
