About the position

As an IT Customer Service Support Specialist at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in transforming technology into opportunity by providing essential support for mobile devices and IT requirements validation. This position involves troubleshooting, managing inventory, and ensuring superior customer service in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of agency operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform IT requirements validation to provide mobile device support including activation, configuration, setup, issuing, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Maintain and manage mobile devices inventory.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, telephone, and video issues.
• Deploy and test hardware and software.
• Utilize an enterprise ticketing system to track and resolve technical issues.
• Provide superior customer service support to users.
• Support VTC/Skype and troubleshoot related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or work experience.
• 5+ years of related experience in a technical help desk position supporting various versions of the Windows platform and applications.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting technical issues and applying critical thought to problems.
• Experience with troubleshooting VTC issues and supporting VTC/Skype.
