About the position

The Cyber Network Operations Product Manager will play a critical role in both strategic and operational aspects of the company's cyber and network infrastructure. This position requires a deep technical understanding of networking and cyber operations, focusing on maintaining and advancing the tapping infrastructure, supporting network operations, and enhancing cyber operations. The role involves hands-on activities and may include leading a small team while contributing to the overall cyber and network strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic goals related to network and cyber operations, ensuring alignment with IT security objectives.
  • Maintain and operate network tapping infrastructure, supporting day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to network-related security events using network telemetry.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of the company's cyber and network roadmap, collaborating with cybersecurity and IT teams.
  • Troubleshoot network incidents and assist in resolving complex technical issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on expertise for network detection and incident response.
  • Maintain knowledge of current technologies, products, and best practices in network and cyber defense.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement new network detection and telemetry tools.
  • Lead, mentor, and train junior cyber engineers to enhance team capabilities.
  • Produce high-quality documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience in networking, network security, and cyber operations.
  • Strong technical knowledge in networking fundamentals, network detection systems, and network telemetry.
  • Familiarity with cyber security and penetration testing.
  • Experience in configuring and managing network tapping and monitoring infrastructure.
  • Ability to perform detailed network troubleshooting and incident analysis.
  • Experience with network detection and response tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with network security standards, including NIST frameworks and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in scripting and automation is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and document technical issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in leading or mentoring junior team members is a plus.
  • Understanding of virtualization systems is a plus.
