About the position

The Cybersecurity Analyst position at CommonSpirit Health is focused on supporting the Governance, Risk, and Compliance program's risk assessment team. This role is essential for conducting cybersecurity risk assessments on various solutions, including applications, vendor-managed services, and medical devices. The analyst will communicate risks to business partners and stakeholders, ensuring that cybersecurity measures are effectively implemented and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate cybersecurity risk assessment tasks.
• Support and participate in the development of risk assessment initiatives.
• Conduct technical analysis of software and hardware using security tools as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation on security assessments, findings, and remediation efforts.
• Communicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform other job duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of job-related experience required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with security tools such as Rapid7, Wireshark, and malware scanners.
• Knowledge of architecture security concepts and application security requirements.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices (e.g., OWASP).
• Experience with ServiceNow.
