Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Secret security clearance required.
  • This is an Army Cybersecurity Workforce Framework Position IAM Level II. The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete the appropriate training and obtain the required certification/recertification for this position.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a DoD information system-level Cybersecurity (CS) program and related program components to safeguard all of the organization's computing environments.
  • Identifying CS objectives, writing policies and proposing and supporting an IA architecture/posture, personnel and CS processes and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all systems and major applications.
  • Managing and overseeing the risk management framework, continuity and support plans, audits and assessments, education and training, CS compliance for all CS support duties, incident handling and response as well as all Army CS requirements.
  • Acting as the primary CS advisor to the Authorizing Official (AO), CIO and Deputy CIO; coordinating all CS related Taskers; and managing the organization and managing the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) portfolio.
