About the position

The IT Data Analyst IV position at Robert Half is a long-term contract role based in Newark, New Jersey. This role is essential for ensuring effective project planning and implementation, providing visibility on contracts, and participating in budget development and schedule establishment to meet contractual requirements. The analyst will also mentor entry-level team members and manage Type 3 projects, contributing to proposal efforts and interacting with customers and management to present complex technical information.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project planning techniques to provide visibility on contracts
  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure contractual cost and schedule objectives are met
  • Mentor entry level team members and provide day-to-day technical guidance
  • Manage Type 3 Projects, working on problems of moderate complexity and diverse scope where data analysis is required
  • Contribute to proposal efforts by creating and drafting technical solutions such as management volumes, IMP IMS, etc.
  • Interact frequently with outside customers, functional peer groups, and management, presenting complex technical information concisely
  • Implement and interpret policies that affect individual employees of a sub-unit
  • Apply moderately complex concepts, practices, and procedures to gain knowledge and experience in the job
  • Handle unusual and seldom occurring job events, using knowledge and experience to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Utilize program management/scheduling tools and techniques like Microsoft Project, Primavera Project Planner, etc.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and implementation
  • Experienced in developing and implementing procedures and policies
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between different teams
  • Skilled in using project planning and monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with budget processes, financial planning, and reporting
  • Experience in a leadership role, demonstrating strong leadership skills
  • Ability to provide training for team members and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of drafting methods and practices
  • Understanding of HIPAA-regulated environments and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage quality controls and assurance
  • Proficiency in using project management software such as 'About Time'
  • Experience in conducting audits and ensuring adherence to company policies
  • Demonstrated ability in program management
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear answers and explanations
  • Experience in working with the Go programming language is a plus.
