About the position

We are a dynamic beverage manufacturing company committed to innovation and excellence. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you'll be on the front lines of driving insights into all areas of the business. The ideal candidate will have advanced SQL and database knowledge, experience analyzing and presenting data, and ideally some development experience. The Data Analyst will work closely with multiple departments throughout the organization to transform data into actionable information to enhance manufacturing processes. This is an on-site position in Salt Lake City, Utah. Key Responsibilities include Data Collection and Integration, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and integrate data from various sources within the manufacturing environment. You will develop and maintain efficient data pipelines for seamless data flow and integration. In Data Analysis and Interpretation, you will analyze complex datasets in SQL to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to manufacturing processes, providing actionable insights through statistical analysis and data visualization techniques. You will also be responsible for Report Generation, creating and automating reports to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical metrics to stakeholders, as well as designing and generating custom reports based on specific business requirements. Quality Assurance is another critical aspect of your role, where you will implement data quality checks and validations to ensure accuracy and reliability of the manufacturing data, identifying and rectifying data anomalies, inconsistencies, or errors. In Database Management, you will manage and optimize databases to support data storage, retrieval, and analysis, ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations. Continuous Improvement will be a focus, as you proactively identify opportunities to enhance data processes and analytical methodologies, recommending and implementing improvements to streamline data-related workflows. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with IT teams, manufacturing engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide effective solutions, facilitating knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration on data-related projects. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field with proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment with related data sources.
  • Proficient in data reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, SSRS, or similar.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Experience with data analysis platforms such as PowerBI, SSAS, Tableau, Qlik, or similar.
  • Strong Excel skills, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
