About the position

The Information Technology Data Analyst plays a crucial role in the manipulation and analysis of data within Script Care, Ltd. This position is primarily responsible for designing and creating a variety of reports, including ad hoc, standard, and automated reports sourced from multiple databases and reporting systems. The Data Analyst will work closely with various internal departments such as Account Services, Managed Care, Operations, Clinical, and IT to ensure that reporting processes are efficient and meet the business's needs. The role is pivotal in developing new reporting processes and updating existing ones to enhance overall business productivity. In addition to report creation, the Data Analyst will build dashboards and self-service tools that facilitate data analysis and presentation, particularly concerning product performance and strategic decision-making. Collaboration with internal users is essential to evaluate processes and ensure they align with business requirements. The Data Analyst will also support various tasks, projects, and initiatives as directed by the Chief Technology Officer, making this role integral to the company's data-driven decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop ad-hoc reports
  • Design and develop standard reports
  • Provide recommendations on development and report design
  • Build dashboards and self-service tools to analyze and present data associated with product performance and strategic decision making
  • Collaborate with internal Script Care, Ltd. users to evaluate and ensure that processes meet business requirements
  • Support and assist with any tasks, projects and initiatives as deemed necessary by the Chief Technology Officer

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a data engineer or SQL-heavy data analyst role, using Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, for example)
  • Experience with data replication tools (Qlik, for example)
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, statistics, computer science, applied mathematics or another quantitative field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time and operate under tight time constraints
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and possesses a strong attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management domain
