About the position
The Data Analyst intern at Motorola Solutions plays a crucial role in executing various reporting tasks and data analytics for the Digital Enablement and Analytics Program. This position focuses on developing actionable reports, analyzing operating results, and supporting the Primary Data Program to optimize forecast accuracy and revenue targets. The intern will also participate in projects aimed at driving process improvements within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for the Digital Enablement and Analytics Program.
- Develop and distribute actionable reports supporting the Primary Data Program (PDP) and Data Organization.
- Consolidate and analyze actual operating results and compare them to monthly/quarterly plans.
- Support the PDP process by providing critical data and analyzing trends to optimize forecast accuracy and revenue targets.
- Participate in projects that drive process improvements in the organization.
- Verify and ensure the accuracy of all data.
- Communicate reporting capabilities on MSI platforms.
Requirements
- High School Diploma is required.
- Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date of December 2025 or later.
- Required experience in sourcing data from multiple data sources for building Tableau visualizations.
- Strong aptitude for understanding and analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources.
- A high degree of computer literacy, including proficiency with spreadsheets.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate strong time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and gain results in a team-based setting.
