About the position

The IT Data/Business Analyst position at Gellert Global Group focuses on business and data analysis to assess financial and business performance. The role provides application support for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and related local systems, ensuring timely and accurate business decision-making and seamless operations. The analyst will manage ERP-related tickets and change requests, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business processes and performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage ERP-related tickets and change requests, focusing on prioritization, tracking, and escalation.
• Collaborate closely with business performance teams on financials, accounting, pricing, costing, promotions, margin, and profit analysis.
• Engage with internal and external local resources to support ERP and related systems.
• Participate in ERP implementations and change requests (CRs).
• Partner with business units to understand processes, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues using knowledge of business processes and core ERP functions.
• Manage documentation and knowledge transfers effectively.
• Oversee change management and communication strategies.
• Maintain flexibility to work outside regular hours, including weekends, to support business and customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in ERP, financial, and business performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of business systems and processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis and data science.
• Experience with SQL for querying and managing data.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with INFOR CloudSuite is a plus.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
