The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, IT Services Division is seeking a Database Administrator Analyst III to join the Applications Development Team in Boise. This role is pivotal in ensuring the health, safety, and independence of Idahoans by managing and optimizing database systems that serve the citizens of Idaho. In this role, the Database Administrator Analyst III will be responsible for designing and installing large, complex database management systems, ensuring the security, quality, and integrity of data resources. The successful candidate will manage assigned databases and associated applications to ensure uninterrupted availability of information to users, implement necessary procedures and controls to protect data, and provide guidance on the effective and secure use of organizational data. Additionally, the role includes providing on-call support to production databases outside of normal working hours, collaborating with team members to ensure optimal database performance and reliability.
