We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator to manage and support our complex database environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle GoldenGate, Exadata, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager, along with a strong understanding of database architecture and best practices. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal performance, security, and reliability of our Oracle databases, which are essential for our operations. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Oracle databases. You will utilize Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data integration and replication, ensuring that our data is always up-to-date and accessible. Additionally, you will manage and maintain Oracle Exadata environments, ensuring high availability and scalability to meet our growing data needs. You will also be tasked with applying Oracle database patches on assigned databases to keep our systems secure and up-to-date. Disaster recovery and data protection are paramount, and you will implement and oversee Oracle Data Guard to safeguard our data. Monitoring, tuning, and managing databases will be performed using Oracle Enterprise Manager, allowing you to proactively address performance issues. You will engage in database tuning, capacity planning, and performance monitoring to ensure our databases operate at peak efficiency. As a leader in the team, you will develop and enforce database standards, guidelines, and procedures, mentoring junior database administrators and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues will be part of your daily responsibilities, and you will provide 24/7 support as needed. Participation in an on-call rotation and performing regular database maintenance activities will also be required.
