About the position
The IT Department Pharmacy Automation Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electromechanical systems in a high-volume pharmaceutical dispensing facility. This role involves working closely with IT Help Desk support personnel to ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and meets production and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and improve equipment to meet production goals and quality expectations.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance for automation robotics, electrical, mechanical, and IT systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and notify the Director of any major repairs or additional equipment needs.
- Collaborate effectively in a team-based environment and communicate with various levels of employees, focusing on customer service.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
- Verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
- Experience with PLC's, CNC, automation robotics, mechanics, and related systems is helpful but not required.
- IT Help Desk support experience is a plus.
