As an IT Desk Support Analyst at American Pest, you will play a crucial role in the IT department, providing essential technical support to end users across the organization. This hybrid position typically requires you to work three days a week from our Richmond office and two days from home, with the flexibility to work more from the office if desired. Your responsibilities will include building, installing, and maintaining computer and phone systems, as well as managing wireless networks and various peripheral devices. You will also be tasked with creating, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the IT department, along with disaster recovery plans. In addition to supporting existing systems, you will be expected to identify potential changes and improvements, presenting your ideas to senior leaders for consideration. You will coordinate all activities related to our Mobile Device Manager (MDM) application servers, software components, mobile devices, and MDM systems. This role will also require you to travel to our office in Troy, VA twice a month and attend quarterly team meetings in Springfield, VA or Fulton, MD, with travel and lodging expenses covered by the company.
