About the position

The IT Desktop Support Technician role involves providing end-user support in a temporary, full-time capacity. The technician will work closely with an onsite engineer to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and connectivity issues, manage ticket queues, and swap out faulty equipment. This position requires a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities, with minimal physical demands such as moving equipment within the building.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support by troubleshooting and resolving hardware and connectivity issues.
• Swap out faulty equipment as needed.
• Manage ticket queues for end-user tickets.
• Collaborate with onsite engineers in the Tech Room.
• Walk within the building to address problem devices or tickets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in end-user support.
• 1 year of experience in ticket management.
• 1 year of experience diagnosing and resolving hardware/connectivity issues.
• 1 year of IT hardware knowledge.
• 1 year of experience in IT help desk support.
