You will be responsible for installing and configuring new hardware and software, as well as providing expert-level support for standard computer equipment, including printers and scanners. Your proactive approach to process improvement will be essential in identifying opportunities to streamline service delivery and reduce downtime. In this role, you will provide Level 1 Help Desk Support, analyzing support requests and developing strategies to reduce recurring issues. You will also implement best practices for Level 2 support, focusing on computers and workstations. Your responsibilities will include managing corporate standard software configurations, assessing software needs, and ensuring that licensing and updates are handled effectively. Additionally, you will analyze recurring issues and develop proactive solutions to enhance the overall user experience. To succeed in this position, you will need a strong background in desktop support within a Windows environment, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with users effectively. Your ability to maintain records in the Asset Control System and create, update, and close service requests will be vital to your success.
