Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) is seeking an IT Developer - Mobile Applications Developer to join our Apps team. This position will be directly involved in specifying and developing iOS and/or Android mobile applications that support ETC products, customers, and sales partners. The ideal candidate is both knowledgeable and passionate about software development, mobile apps, and the end-user experience. In this role, you will develop new mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, contributing to existing apps written in Swift, Kotlin, Qt, or Java. You will also integrate with back-end data sources and web services, ensuring that we deliver a great mobile user experience that exceeds our customer expectations. Additionally, you will help improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews. Participation in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products is also expected. You will work closely with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases, translating those into effective technical solutions. A solid understanding of mobile app store ecosystems and requirements is essential, as is the ability to dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results within a set schedule.
