About the position

As an IT Digital Product Owner at Hubbell, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experience of our B2B and B2C web applications and digital services. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver on Hubbell's vision and value realization by collaborating closely with various partners across IT, corporate functions, and business units. You will be tasked with developing the overall Digital product roadmap and ensuring successful project execution. This involves managing the intake and prioritization of customer requirements, translating business needs to technical teams, and working closely with delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction. In this role, you will ensure that the product aligns with the company's overall strategy and goals while also meeting IT's requirements, such as compliance, security, scalability, and project methodology. You will be a user-focused individual, keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do. Your responsibilities will include defining and prioritizing the product roadmap, balancing budget and timelines, and communicating the product vision and strategy to ensure alignment with the organization's objectives. You will gather valuable inputs, update plans accordingly, and communicate their impact to all relevant stakeholders. Taking the initiative to gather requirements and provide clear interpretations using user stories will be essential. You will also measure product performance and value delivered to clients, adjusting product roadmaps and plans as necessary. Your ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization will be crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the overall Digital product roadmap.
  • Ensure successful project execution by collaborating with IT, corporate functions, and business units.
  • Manage intake and prioritization of customer requirements.
  • Translate business needs to technical teams and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap while balancing budget and timelines.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders.
  • Gather inputs and update plans accordingly, communicating impacts to stakeholders.
  • Initiate requirement gathering and provide clear interpretations using user stories.
  • Measure product performance and adjust roadmaps as necessary.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management.
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Business Relationship Management.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with SaaS products.
  • 5+ years of Vendor Management experience.
  • Technology experience in .Net, Cloud Native Technologies, and eCommerce stacks (ideally MACH).
  • Experience focused on web applications and eCommerce, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to kick-start new initiatives and drive complex issues through analysis and resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting to a broad range of collaborators, including C-Level Executives.
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • PMI, PMO, Agile, Scrum or similar certification is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in grid modernization and electrification solutions.
  • Familiarity with critical infrastructure solutions.
  • Knowledge of Hubbell's Utility Solutions and Electrical Solutions segments.
