About the position

The IT Director will lead the technology operations of LaBovick Law Group, focusing on aligning IT strategies with the firm's mission of innovation and excellence. This role involves managing IT performance, overseeing budgets, and ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure while fostering team development and vendor partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Track and optimize IT performance across the board.
• Oversee IT budgets, keeping spending effective and strategic.
• Proactively manage IT risks and security vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate and grow IT talent to keep the team at peak performance.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that propel the business goals.
• Oversee and enhance IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure operations.
• Build relationships and negotiate with vendors to ensure the best value.
• Prepare and safeguard systems with a thorough disaster recovery plan.
• Continually assess and adopt cutting-edge technologies.
• Define the vision for the firm's tech needs and manage the annual budget.
• Lead, mentor, and schedule the IT team, conducting evaluations that inspire improvement.
• Conduct thorough, constructive performance reviews.
• Review, assess, and make improvements across the tech stack, security, backup, and infrastructure.
• Work with senior leadership to bring strategic tech goals to life.
• Negotiate favorable contracts, manage licensing, and oversee equipment procurement.
• Manage domains, SSL certificates, and licenses while ensuring secure access and credentials.
• Oversee helpdesk operations, troubleshoot as needed, and escalate issues effectively.
