About the position

The IT EHR Epic Rev Cycle Analyst will serve as a Technical Specialist responsible for building and supporting Epic modules, specifically Resolute Hospital Billing Claims and Resolute Professional Billing Claims. This role requires a deep understanding of the organization's policies and procedures, as well as the ability to coordinate and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle. The position is focused on ensuring effective application support and development for end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary support contact for the application's end-users.
  • Develop, design, configure, script, test, and support applications for business, research, and instructional functions.
  • Develop solutions using programming expertise for day-to-day problems, including maintenance and modification of complex applications.
  • Evaluate hardware availability and software requirements.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise in the application.
  • Guide workflow design, build and test the system, and analyze technical issues associated with Epic software.
  • Identify and implement requested changes to the system.
  • Act as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staff.
  • Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives and participate in weekly project team meetings.
  • Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows by attending site visits and integrated sessions.
  • Review the status of projects and issues with leadership on an ongoing basis.
  • Hold weekly communications with team members to discuss deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones.

Requirements

  • Current Epic Analyst Certifications for Resolute Hospital Billing Claims and Resolute Professional Billing Claims.
  • Data analysis skills.
  • Mid-level technical support experience.
  • Health information management knowledge.
  • Experience in data collection.
