About the position

The IT/EMR Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and EMR optimizations within a healthcare organization. This role requires a strong background in healthcare IT systems, project management expertise, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient project management practices while adhering to healthcare regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the identification, selection, and prioritization of IT and EMR projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Monitor project performance, track progress, and make necessary adjustments to meet project objectives.
• Provide regular updates to senior management.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensure all projects adhere to healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining compliance with industry best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive portfolio and project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

Requirements

• PMI certification
• Lean Six Sigma experience
• Deep understanding of healthcare IT systems
• Project management expertise
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
