About The Position

The IT Engineer Applications role at Kaiser Permanente involves translating business requirements into software solutions, developing and modifying integrated business applications, and facilitating the implementation and maintenance of these solutions. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in software development or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and functional specifications into software solutions.
• Develop, configure, or modify integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions.
• Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of software solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve business problems and support project completion.
• Communicate progress and information effectively to stakeholders.
• Identify and recommend improvements to processes and solutions.
• Provide systems incident support and troubleshooting for issues.
• Assist in the development and execution of unit testing to identify application errors.
• Support component integration testing (CIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Write technical specifications and documentation for software solutions.
• Build partnerships with IT teams and vendors to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
