About the position

The IT Engineer position at INSPYR Solutions is a hybrid role based in Vienna, VA, focused on delivering technology solutions and talent management. This initial 6-month contract position offers opportunities for extensions and requires a strong foundation in front-end technologies and programming languages, along with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test web applications using front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Utilize object-oriented PHP programming for application development.
• Work with various programming and scripting languages including Python, PHP, Java, PowerShell/PowerCLI, Perl, and VBScript.
• Administer databases such as Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server, including DDL operations.
• Perform data analysis to support automation opportunities.
• Communicate technical information effectively to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Experience in object-oriented PHP programming.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, PHP, Java, PowerShell/PowerCLI, Perl, VBScript, Windows batch scripting, REST web APIs, JSON).
• Experience working with Windows and Linux/Unix platforms.
• Experience with database administration (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
