About the position

The IT Engineer III/AWS Data Engineer role focuses on developing automation scripts and tools for system provisioning and deployment, as well as creating ETL processes for data extraction from various operational systems. The position emphasizes the development of solutions on cloud-based architecture and the promotion of strategic technologies in public APIs, Big Data, and Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts and tools for automation of system provisioning, deployment, upgrade, and scaling using Python.
• Create ETLs to extract data from various operational systems.
• Develop solutions on cloud-based architecture.
• Promote key strategic technologies in public APIs, Big Data, and Analytics.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with relational, dimensional, and/or analytic databases using RDBMS, dimensional, and NoSQL data platform technologies.
• Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms.
• Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools.
• Experience in team management and communication skills.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation and Lambda.
• Advanced knowledge in Python development.
• Good technical acumen around AWS environment for data-driven projects.
