About the position

The IT Enterprise Analyst position at Savvee Consulting Inc. involves supporting the federal Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) by becoming an Enterprise Architect. The role focuses on enterprise architecture for large-scale federal IT projects, requiring a passion for designing and planning EA artifacts, conducting architectural analyses, and ensuring compliance with DoD/DON standards.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and planning of Enterprise Architectural (EA) artifacts, planning and information, and participation in working groups
  • Performing AS-IS technical topology artifact development and maintenance in compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Documenting the TO-BE architecture based on analysis of enterprise requirements over a five-year time horizon in alignment with strategic directions
  • Conducting architectural analyses to include the impact of introducing new technologies and adopting changes to business processes, workflows, and current architecture
  • Developing a plan for transition from the existing AS-IS architecture to the TO-BE state, including incremental changes to processes, upgrading technical capabilities, retirement or transition of technology and the evolution of IT systems and interfaces
  • Ensuring EA applications and systems are compliant and align to the DoD/DON and intelligence community EAs
  • Accessing intelligence facilities for collaboration or answering data calls that reside on the JWICS network
  • Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to client
  • Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three or more years of IT experience
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
  • Requires an understanding of IT equipment, infrastructure, systems, networks, applications and how they interact
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to adapt in a busy environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Currently holds an ACTIVE DoD Secret clearance
  • Experience with application rationalization, technical architecture
  • Understanding of DADM and DITPR-DON
