About the position

The IT Enterprise Project Manager at AMERICAN SYSTEMS is responsible for overseeing and supporting the operations of government IT systems, particularly within Special Access Programs (SAPs). This role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance and involves direct collaboration with government leads and IT leadership to ensure the effective management of data centers, networks, and telecommunications infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Directly support the government lead and provide day-to-day planning and oversight for the customer's data centers, networks, telecommunications infrastructure, servers, systems, services, and applications.
  • Work closely with the customer's IT leadership representatives and the contractor IT workforce to provide daily support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
  • Schedule, de-conflict, and coordinate activities along with task/project efforts and emergency changes to minimize production systems and service downtime.
  • Be responsible for the full range of matters pertaining to all assured information systems under the customer's cognizance.
  • Maintain an overall health and status awareness of all assigned resources and projects through effective and flexible resource and task management.
  • Conduct daily stand-up meetings with the applicable contractor IT workforce to review operational status and planned work for the day; provide applicable updates to customer leadership as required.
  • Support the continuous improvement program for IT and develop recommendations for idea, process, and technology improvement to overall IT management.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance and be SAP eligible.
  • Willingness to obtain a CI Poly may be required to maintain employment in contract option years.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience supporting enterprise IT operations.
  • 3 - 5 years of project management experience in IT.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAWIA PM Level II certification.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, GSEC, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, CND, SSCP) or DoD 8570 IAM Level II Information Assurance Manager Level II (e.g., CISSP, CASP+ CE, CISM, GSLC, CCISO).
