About the position

The IT Project Manager position is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead and manage multiple projects within a dynamic and supportive environment. This role is particularly focused on overseeing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects, as well as non-ERP initiatives, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the project lifecycle, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the organization's operations. In this position, the IT Project Manager will engage in a variety of projects, ranging from small to mid-level, which will enhance their project management skills and expose them to various methodologies and technology stacks. The role requires effective collaboration with the Project Management team, providing leadership and direction to foster a collaborative environment that achieves project milestones and deliverables. The work model is hybrid, allowing the Project Manager to spend two days in the modern office located on the near west side of Cleveland, Ohio, while working remotely for the remainder of the week. This contract-to-hire position not only offers a job but also a pathway to a permanent role, providing stability and long-term growth within the organization. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in IT project management, particularly with ERP or SAP systems, and must be local to the NE Ohio area for in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple IT projects, including ERP and non-ERP initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Lead project teams and provide direction to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
  • Utilize various project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure effective project execution.
  • Engage in risk management and effective resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and team members.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT project management, particularly with ERP or SAP and non-SAP systems across the full project lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in various project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong background in IT project management, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools such as Microsoft Project or JIRA.
