About the position

Navarro Research and Engineering is seeking an IT Facilities Project Manager to join our team in West Mifflin, PA. This position offers a hybrid work environment with up to 80% teleworking, allowing for flexibility while managing critical projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multiple teams and projects associated with enterprise IT and facilities initiatives that support the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP). This role requires an active DOE L clearance or DOD Secret clearance, which is essential for consideration due to the sensitive nature of the work involved. As the IT Facilities Project Manager, you will interface with both enterprise IT and facilities support groups to effectively communicate and document user needs. You will establish project scope, schedules, work breakdown structures, and planning assumptions while evaluating requests for scope, budget, or schedule changes. Your role will also involve establishing and reviewing project performance metrics, taking appropriate actions to correct deviations, and reporting on project issues that may affect work evolutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for the development of periodic project assessments and communicating status updates with stakeholders and customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a technically diverse and dynamic environment, working alongside a team of IT professionals dedicated to supporting the business. You will need to possess a strong understanding of enterprise-level information technology, including networking, desktop support, and cybersecurity, as well as knowledge of facilities construction and engineering. Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple teams and projects associated with enterprise IT and facilities initiatives supporting the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of five years of relevant project management experience, or a Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of three years of relevant project management experience.
  • Active DOE L clearance or DOD Secret clearance required.
  • Experience with enterprise-level information technology including networking, desktop support, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with facilities construction and engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teaming and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 or similar project management software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI.
