About the position

Hill International is seeking an IT/Facilities Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the United States. The successful candidate will work in a technically diverse environment, collaborating with a team of IT professionals and facilities teams to support our business operations. This role requires effective communication and documentation of user needs, ensuring that both enterprise IT and facilities support groups are aligned in their objectives. The IT/Facilities Project Manager will be responsible for establishing project scope, schedules, and work breakdown structures, as well as evaluating requests for changes in scope, budget, or schedule. The role involves setting and reviewing project performance metrics, taking appropriate actions to correct any deviations, and reporting on project issues that may affect work evolutions. Additionally, the manager will develop periodic project assessments and communicate status updates to stakeholders and customers. This position may also involve other duties as required, making it essential for the candidate to be adaptable and proactive in their approach to project management.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with enterprise IT and facilities support groups to communicate and document user needs effectively.
  • Establish project scope, schedules, work breakdown structure, and planning assumptions.
  • Evaluate requests for scope, budget, or schedule changes.
  • Establish and review project performance metrics and take corrective actions for deviations.
  • Report and provide solutions for project issues affecting work evolutions.
  • Develop periodic project assessments and communicate status with stakeholders and customers.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in project management.
  • Experience with enterprise-level information technology including networking, desktop support, and cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of facilities construction and engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teaming and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 or similar project management software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and/or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
  • Must have or be able to obtain L security clearance.
