About the position

As an IT Field Service (Break-Fix) Technician at Hemmersbach, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional Break/Fix support to our customers in the Milwaukee, WI area. This position involves providing technical support for a variety of devices, including laptops, desktops, and printers, primarily focusing on HP equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring that users are back up and running as quickly as possible. Your work will involve traveling to multiple client sites each day, where you will engage with a diverse range of users, providing hands-on support and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be part of a small team of skilled engineers who are dedicated to maintaining a strong work-life balance. Responsibilities

  • Deliver Break/Fix support to customers in the assigned area.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for laptops, desktops, and printers.
  • Perform installations and deployments of HP equipment.
  • Provide Hands & Eyes support for various IT tasks.
  • Manage assets and coordinate with clients effectively.
  • Drive to multiple client sites throughout the day.

Requirements

  • 18 months of IT experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with Windows 7-11 and MS Active Directory.
  • Proficient in utilizing GPOs and MS Office 365.
  • Experience in PC hardware installation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with enterprise anti-virus solutions and IT ticketing systems.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Valid driving license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HP equipment installations and deployments.
