About the position

The IT Field Service Technician role at Vaco involves providing on-site IT support and ensuring the operability of IT systems within the assigned market. The technician will assist colleagues with IT needs, manage service desk tickets, and perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level. This position emphasizes effective communication, customer service, and adherence to IT standards while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist colleagues with onsite IT needs and help create service desk tickets.
  • Identify and escalate repeated issues experienced by colleagues.
  • Ensure proper operability of all IT systems through regular checklists.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to keep them informed about IT initiatives.
  • Assess customer satisfaction and escalate issues as needed.
  • Disseminate help sheets and usage guides for end users.
  • Execute standard procedures and workflows for IT tasks.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including software and hardware installations.
  • Enforce compliance with IT standards across all centers.
  • Participate in pilot testing and troubleshooting as required.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and access to a car for travel between centers.
  • Ability to verify WAN, LAN, and Internet connectivity.
  • Excellent attention to detail and cable management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and team mindset.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Associates or bachelor's degree with two years of experience, or four years of experience in a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in health care preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow preferred.
  • Experience supporting Sales Force, Genesys, Teams, and eClinicalWorks a plus.
  • ITIL certification or experience in an ITIL environment preferred.
