About the position

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Chandler, AZ. This contract position involves traveling to client locations to install, upgrade, repair, and maintain various IT equipment, ensuring high-quality technical support and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients in a clear and professional manner to ensure satisfaction with technical support.
• Respond promptly to client requests for support, whether on-site or remotely, based on client needs and project requirements.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and repairs for a range of IT equipment, including printers, PCs, data centers, and servers.
• Provide specialized technical support for HP servers and data center equipment, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to servers and data centers, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
• Work closely with team members, including dispatch, project managers, engineers, and other technicians, to deliver seamless support services.
• Maintain clear and accurate communication with clients and management, providing timely updates on the status of technical issues.
• Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring availability for service calls.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures at all times, maintaining a high standard of work.

Requirements

• Proven experience in field service or technical support roles.
• Strong knowledge of IT equipment, including HP servers and data center components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
