About the position

The IT Field Service Engineer at Skanska is responsible for providing technical support to computer system users, addressing issues related to hardware and software, and ensuring smooth operations at job sites. This role emphasizes professionalism and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while contributing to Skanska's mission of building for a better society.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to assist group computer system users.
  • Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, or from a remote location.
  • Assist with the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, office productivity, electronic mail, and operating systems.
  • Manage assigned jobsite mobilization and demobilization as directed by the Regional Manager.

Requirements

  • 2+ years technical support experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing PCs, Printers, and Peripherals.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012 and 2016 is a plus.
  • Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft O365 Products.
  • Proven ability to understand technology processes and tools and utilize them to improve technology efforts.
  • Proven ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
  • Valid Driver's License.
