About the position

The IT Field Service Engineer at Skanska is responsible for providing technical support to computer system users, addressing issues in person, via phone, or remotely. This role involves assisting with hardware and software problems, managing jobsite mobilization and demobilization, and ensuring a high level of professionalism in all interactions. The position is integral to maintaining the technology infrastructure that supports Skanska's diverse construction projects, contributing to the company's mission of building for a better society.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to assist group computer system users.
  • Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, or from a remote location.
  • Assist with the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, office productivity, electronic mail, and operating systems.
  • Manage assigned jobsite mobilization and demobilization as directed by the Regional Manager.
  • Perform all responsibilities in a highly professional manner.

Requirements

  • 2+ years technical support experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing PCs, Printers, and Peripherals.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012 and 2016 is a plus.
  • Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft O365 Products.
  • Proven ability to understand technology processes and tools and utilize them to improve technology efforts.
  • Proven ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
  • Valid Driver's License.
