About the position

Red Knight Solutions is seeking a dedicated Field Specialist to join our Infrastructure Delivery team in Cincinnati, OH. This part-time position is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and technical support. The Field Specialist will report directly to the Territory Supervisor and will be responsible for delivering hardware-focused break-fix services and solutions on various client products. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repair, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike. As a Field Specialist, you will engage in a variety of tasks that include providing customer break-fix support for designated equipment, ensuring that all service calls are handled efficiently and effectively. You will be expected to communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms, demonstrating excellent customer service skills throughout your interactions. Additionally, you will be responsible for accepting and delivering all service calls assigned to you, completing all administrative tasks associated with each call, and managing the control and return of assets and inventory. Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet business requirements, and you may also provide functional guidance to colleagues when necessary. This position is ideal for individuals who possess a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. The ability to perform basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities is essential, as is the capacity to make informed decisions based on established department and company guidelines. Requirements

  • Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to drive yourself to client locations
  • Ability to lift and/or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance
  • Must own a basic repair tool kit

Benefits

  • $40 per call
  • $5 per call per diem
