About the position

The IT Field Support Technician role at Red Knight Solutions involves providing hardware-focused break-fix services and solutions for various client products. This part-time position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to perform troubleshooting and repair activities. The technician will report to the Territory Supervisor and will be responsible for managing service calls and administrative tasks associated with each call.

Responsibilities

  • Providing customer break fix support for designated equipment
  • Communicating clearly in written and verbal form
  • Possessing excellent customer service skills
  • Accepting and delivering all service calls assigned
  • Completing all administrative tasks associated with each call
  • Responsible for control and return of assets and inventory
  • May provide functional guidance to colleagues

Requirements

  • Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to drive yourself to client locations
  • Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance
  • Must own a basic repair tool kit
