About the position

Red Knight Solutions is seeking a part-time Field Specialist to join its Infrastructure Delivery team in Mesa, AZ. As a Field Specialist, you will report directly to the Territory Supervisor and will be responsible for performing a variety of hardware-focused break-fix services and solutions on various client products. This role requires candidates to possess the ability to conduct basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities. You will be expected to exercise moderately complex analytical skills and make decisions based on established department and company guidelines. In this position, you will provide customer break-fix support for designated equipment, ensuring that all service calls are handled efficiently and effectively. Clear communication, both written and verbal, is essential, as you will be interacting with clients and colleagues regularly. Excellent customer service skills are a must, as you will be the face of our company during service calls. You will also be responsible for the acceptance and delivery of all service calls assigned to you, completing all administrative tasks associated with each call, and managing the control and return of assets and inventory. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to meet business requirements, and you may provide functional guidance to colleagues as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for control and return of assets and inventory
  • May provide functional guidance to colleagues
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Requirements

  • Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to drive yourself to client locations
  • Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance
  • Must own a basic repair tool kit

Benefits

  • $40 per call
  • $5 per call per diem
