About the position

Red Knight Solutions is seeking a dedicated Field Specialist to join its Infrastructure Delivery team in Omaha, NE. This position is integral to our mission of partnering with clients to provide exceptional service and support. The Field Specialist will report directly to the Territory Supervisor and will be responsible for delivering hardware-focused break-fix services and solutions on various client products. The role requires candidates to possess the ability to perform both basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities, ensuring that client equipment is operational and meets their needs. In this role, the Field Specialist will engage in a variety of tasks that include providing customer break-fix support for designated equipment, communicating effectively in both written and verbal forms, and demonstrating excellent customer service skills. The position may also involve accepting and delivering all service calls assigned, completing all administrative tasks associated with each call, and managing the control and return of assets and inventory. Additionally, the Field Specialist may provide functional guidance to colleagues as needed to meet business objectives. Candidates must be prepared to exercise moderately complex analytical skills and make decisions based on established department and company guidelines. This position offers flexibility, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time work, and is compensated at a rate of $400 to $500 per week, along with additional benefits such as $40 per call and $5 per call per diem for expenses incurred during service calls.

Requirements

  • Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to drive yourself to client locations
  • Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance
  • Must own a basic repair tool kit
